Before Your First Appointment
After you have scheduled your first appointment over the phone you will receive an email with a link that will take you to the portal to complete an intake form. Prior to your first appointment at Kovacs Chiropractic, it is essential that all necessary paperwork is completed online via our chiropractic portal.
If internet access is unavailable to you, please plan to arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled visit to fill out the required forms in-office. Having these documents prepared in advance allows us to ensure a focused and timely consultation.
New Patient:
As a new patient your first visit will include a thorough exam and a chiropractic treatment after the exam process is complete. Both traditional musculoskeletal and orthopedic exam procedures will be used. The exam will also use Applied Kinesiology exam protocols specific to help your outcome. We do a focused, thorough evaluation prior to treating you in our clinic.
Throughout the exam process Dr. Kovacs will talk with you and walk you through the process of what he’s finding. At the end of the exam, he will determine the course of care. Every patient will have to go through the initial exam process prior to any chiropractic treatment.
Chiropractic Treatment:
A Chiropractic Treatment starts with a brief evaluation using Applied Kinesiology to assess the specific areas needing attention. This technique, also known as muscle testing, targets not only the symptoms but also any underlying factors contributing to the issue. Weak muscles can indicate various imbalances or disturbances affecting your pain or dysfunction, helping to gauge your healing progress.
Each treatment involves Hot or Cold Therapy, along with Flexion Distraction Therapy of the spine on a Leander Table. This process aims to decompress the spine, stretch specific muscles and ligaments, and improve flexibility, alleviate tightness, and promotes relaxation. This allows the body to relax and prepare for the specific chiropractic treatment that will be given during your appointment.
Kovacs Chiropractic Payments and Fees
At Kovacs Chiropractic, we operate on a fee-for-service basis.
- We do not bill your insurance for the services we provide.
- We do not participate with any insurance carriers.
- If your insurance provider covers chiropractic care, we will gladly supply you with a Superbill for your chiropractic services.
This approach enables us to focus on delivering tailored, high-quality care, free from the limitations imposed by insurance plans.
Payment is required at the time of your chiropractic service.
We accept cash, local checks, and credit cards for the settlement of our services. Below is an outline of our fees:
- New Patient Exam Including Chiropractic Treatment: $225.00
- Chiropractic Treatments: $75.00

Cancellation Policy
At Kovacs Chiropractic, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise that require you to cancel or reschedule your appointment. In order to maintain a smooth schedule and effectively serve all our patients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:

Rescheduling: Requests made less than 24 hours in advance may be subject to a $25.00 fee.

No-Shows: Patients who miss their appointment without prior notice will be charged a $50.00 fee.
